Mount Pleasant Chiropractor

Dr. Edward Rak

A life-long multi-sport All-State Athlete, Dr. Rak began to suffer from migraines and sciatica while still in high school. After an automobile accident in college, a friend finally referred him to see a chiropractor. While the chiropractic care healed the injuries caused by the accident, he also found that the sciatica and migraines completely went away. It was here, Dr. Rak began to understand the nervous system in relation to the body’s healing mechanism and chose to switch career tracks and dedicate himself to helping others improve their health and their lives without the use of pharmaceutical or surgical interventions.

Dr. Edward Rak graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelors in Science in Biology and emphasis in Pre-Medical Studies. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1998 from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. While a student at Life, he began additional training with Dr. Michael U. Kale and learned the importance of upper cervical care. He went on to run the Kale Research Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina and took over Dr. Kale’s practice upon his retirement.  Dr. Rak is further trained in the Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
